On an average night out in Toronto, you will find me in some form of a black-on-black outfit, likely jeans, or a skirt with a crop top (post coming soon). However, when I am travelling, everything changes, and by everything, I mean this one thing.
Dresses are the best, for one main reason; they are a single, stand-alone item, that needn’t be paired with anything (not unlike independent women #whoruntheworld).
As some of you may know, I am currently living in Sydney, where it is summer...pretty much always. Because of this, it sort of feels like I am travelling all the time, and so I take every chance I get to give dark colours a break, and wear all of my white dresses. Hopefully I keep up this habit and continue when I land back in North America. Stay tuned.
In other news, the purse I am wearing in these pictures is from Roots. It’s no secret that Roots has great sweatpants and leather, but what is kind of a secret (I didn’t know) is that when you purchase a bag, you can fully customize it. You can choose the colour, the type of leather, the style of the interior, and the hardware…and I did it all.
