Last week I had an engagement party to attend, and I had to go straight from work. (*May my problems always be so great*). Anyways, I can’t be too fancy at the office, and I didn’t want to go to the party in a boring outfit-so you can see my predicament. This bell sleeve top was my answer. It was suitable enough for my conservative daytime purposes, and the sleeves were the flare I needed to take me into evening. Suffice to say; with a pair of black booties and dress pants, I arrived at the party with bells on.
About the look:
There is nothing like a statement piece to really elevate an otherwise plain outfit. The past 2 years we’ve been seeing off-the-shoulder-top, after off-the-shoulder-top, and I have nothing against my collarbone, but it’s time for a little something different. This shirt is made by a really cool label from Miami that makes all kinds of great tops, and you can find it right now at 6 by Gee Beauty. Also, I am obsessed with the lace-overlay, which is actually called Guipure (I think).
